Beredskap
Studentprestene er en del av kriseberedskapen ved lærestedene. Vi kan bistå i det psykososiale støttearbeidet ved dødsfall, ulykker eller kriser. (f.eks når det skal informeres om dødsfall, minnestund osv).
Vi er ansatt av Den Norske Kirke.

When life becomes too big or too small.
Welcome to the Student Chaplains. Student life can be both rewarding and challenging. Sometimes it is helpful to talk to someone who listens with interest to how it is for you right now.
When life is challenging, the student chaplain can be a safe and supportive conversation partner. We talk about what matters to you, whether it is big or small.
We have confidentiality, and you do not need to be Christian or religious to come to us.

We will respond as soon as possible during office hours. The student chaplains are available for meetings at the office, by phone, Zoom, etc.
Conversations last about an hour, and you can come back multiple times.

Our offices are located near the Student Centre, in the middle of Nygårdshøyden at Harald Hårfagresgate 1. You can find us on the 5th floor of the brick building on the corner.
Ring the doorbell and we will let you in.
Emergency preparedness
The student chaplains are part of the crisis preparedness at the universities. We can assist in psychosocial support in cases of death, accidents, or crises (e.g., when informing about a death, memorial services, etc.).
The student chaplains are a free low-threshold service for all students in Bergen.

The student chaplains are employed by the Church of Norway.
