Christian Values as Foundation for Nation Building

2 bishops and 1 professor in conversation

The introduction of Christianity one thousand years ago, and the introduction of the first national law of Norway by King Magnus in 1274 has significantly influenced the development of our nation. The Christian values as foundation have been important for developing the nation Norway is today.

South Sudan is the world’s youngest nation and shall develop its own values and structures.

What are the experiences, challenges, importance and possibilities of the church in two so different countries as Norway and South Sudan?
