Tuesday August 5, our Evening Mass at 18.00 is replaced with a very special event - an organ concert by the young musician Lukas Hasler.
With his passion project Organ For Planet, Lukas Hasler combines music with global awareness: he plays organ concerts in extraordinary locations around the globe – places notable for their geographic position, cultural history, or political significance.
The project began with a concert at St. Thomas Church in New York, held right after the U.S. elections. His journey has since taken him to the unique cave organ in the Luray Caverns (USA), the world’s largest church in Yamoussoukro (Ivory Coast), and now as far as the northernmost permanently inhabited place on Earth: Svalbard.
Free admission - and as always, there will be church coffee in the fireplace lounge afterwards.
Welcome to our open church!
