Dear colleagues,
The very first Nordic Dialogue Conference – when we meet to share and discuss matters related to being a majority church in the multi-faith society – was held in Stockholm in 2009. Since then, there has been a conference every 18th months (or roughly so). We have met in various places in Sweden, Norway, Finland, and, most recently, in Denmark.
Next year, the conference will return to Stockholm. The overarching topic we will be exploring is how interfaith dialogue and interfaith cooperation can contribute to more peaceful, resiliant, and inclusive societies.
There will be ample opportunities to learn from researchers, theologians, practitioners, and, not least, each other. We will also learn by visiting other faith communities.
English will be the main language of the conference. A detailed program and further information will follow later. Meanwhile, please make sure to save the date: March 4.-6. 2026 (from lunchtime Wednesday until lunchtime Friday). We are very much looking forward to seeing you then.
This is an inclusive invitation, so you are most welcome to share this information with anyone in your Church who might be interested in coming.
